Week 11 - wrapping features up


Dev

The sabotages have been improved and you are sadly unable to spam click. With this however, we've saved your money and you will be unable to buy that sabotage if it's already activated. Good right? We gotta save the money we are printing right.

Lastly, you might not notice it too much, but code has been improved in the background, plus now linking art assets, the game looks a lot better as our UI got a nice makeover!

The belts are moving now viizhhhh, materials are going through belts smoothly making sure you don't lose a single material ( changing the whole physics system belts to spline and animation and some code spice. 

Also we developed the rest of the sabotages, if your neighbor factory is printing a lot, give your call center room a visit. 

Art

For art we focused on more technical stuff like particles, working further on animations and wrapping our final meshes. UI also had a massive upgrade and is almost finished. This applies for the in-game menu and HUD, but also as general key art for the game and this Itch page.  We also added smoke particles, fire particles and sparks that fly of broken machines. We finished up the last models and are almost done with the art for the game.

Sound

With the final sabotages being implemented, the sounds for those are provided and implemented. Better systems are now in place to control the music elements for all of the blueprints. The main menu got filled with all the necessary sounds together with some mischievous music that flows pretty fluently into the main game scene. 

Throughout the week, a list was made with all the different sounds that still needed some changing in order to create a good mix. We're wrapping things up and readying ourselves for the polish.
